We are Europeans who had and have the privilege to experience the achievements of the European idea which our parents and grandparents have been fighting for.
We observe and are concerned about various developments back to nationalism and autocratic systems, which systematically try to attack those achievements like independency of press and freedom of speech, independent judiciary, protection of minorities, free economic flow and open borders in an open society. All this is based on cooperation and a democratic social model.
We are artists or understand art as an excellent way to emotionally reach out to people to get into a dialog.
